A Message from the President

On October 20th, Bridge City Tool Works hosted an Open House at our new headquarters/showroom in Montclair, California.  In attendance were John Economaki, Consuelo Cao, and their respective families who traveled from Portland, Oregon to share in the excitement of our grand opening.  It was such a pleasure for our new owner, Jack Xu, our new Bridge City Tool Works team: Jolene Brown, Hung Nguyen, Karen Finnegan, Rutager West, and me to get to know all of the Bridge City Tool Works customers who attended the event.  We appreciate you taking the time to be a part of our new venture and truly enjoyed meeting each and every one of you.

Jack also showcased Harvey’s Gyro Air dust collectors and introduced the latest model that was just released here in the U.S. last month.  If you missed this event, you are more than welcome to visit our headquarters in Montclair, where we have all of the Bridge City Tool Works product line and the Gyro Air Dust Collectors on display for your enjoyment in our new showroom.

The demand for our products has been overwhelming and we are working diligently to keep up with the interest in our tools. While in California, John also met with the new Bridge City Tool Works team to plan for the next batch of products which includes planes, scratch awls, and other woodworking items. We are looking forward to offering these fantastic additions soon and hope to have these in stock by mid-2019.

As part of that planning, the recently enacted tariffs will unfortunately impact the cost of our Bridge City tools and will cause an increase in price beginning November 19, 2018.  We have taken every possible step to manage these costs and have kept them to a minimum. We will honor our current rates on the ‘In Stock’ items on our website on all orders placed before November 19th.

We value your business and appreciate your patience as we move through this transition.  We are extremely thankful for your support and are dedicated to our commitment in maintaining the legacy of Bridge City Tool Works.

Lastly, let me be among the first to wish you and your loved ones Happy Holidays and hope that you have a great woodworking season ahead!
