"Zero Clearance" fence/table

I've been using what we call in the photo business, white paper tape, to bridge the gap over the tables and the fence in order to perfectly show where the cut of the blade will be. Cheap, when it gets torn up...easily replaced and doesn't force the blade one way or the other. Pic is self explanatory. I'm sure I'm not the first on this.

Nice, Paul. I've never actually come across that tape. Do you have a link for it that you could share? It looks like useful stuff!

Well, I think most tapes would work. I just use what I have available which I have all different types available but this tape is very thin, thinner than painters tape. I buy from Janet at JCX. Scroll down this page to paper tape. The pic shows a 2 inch white paper.
