Pitch screw unscrewing itself

Does anybody experience the pitch screw unscrewing itself over time? If so, it's annoying ain't it? It also can prove to be more than annoyance when you find the final depth of your cut isn't what you first set it to be.
So if your Jointmaker pitch screw unscrews itself, have you found a way to prevent?
Right now I have a mark on it and every few cuts I look at it and put screw it back to where it's supposed to be.

In fact, many things unscrew themselves from the Jointmaker and I finally took a Sharpie and wrote on the top of fence
Periodically tighten everything".

I'd been wondering whether that would happen. The pitch screw is quite loose, and the jiggling must affect it. I wonder whether a jam nut might help. It would slow down the adjustment process...
