Table Saw Sled Directions

I can certainly make do, but I have to ask: Where the heck did you guys come up with these measurements?

2.14" is kinda/sorta 2-9/64". 2.094 is kinda/sorta/2-3/32. I have no freakin' idea what .864" is besides just under 22mm; just like 1.631" is 16.03mm.

What is the point of specifying measurements out to three decimal places that don't fit any common fractions? What kind of rules to you guys use?

Hi D,

Digital calipers would be the tool that you would want to make those measurements. They are fantastic to use in the shop.
