Postby ForumMFG » Mon Dec 28, 2009 11:54 am

Whats the color scheme going to be of the new JMP-V2 and the JMP-SW?

Also, why was is that the JMP changed from black to blue on the first run?

.

from my understandings . . .

The new JMP series,,,
The tables will be the same orange.
The front and back stand-plates and bottom spanners will be a silver grey.
The rails for the linear sleds will be black.

As far as the original color scheme,
I don't believe there was any jumping on the colors,
The dark charcoal you saw in my initial review was on the "prototype" version of the production model. Prototypes are usually working models of what will eventually be the "Production Run" Things sometimes change from a prototype version to a production version. The initial run was the blue color.

Thanks Roger.

I Pre-ordered the JMP-SW yesterday. I did read some of your review on the FOG but I'm going to print it all out if my printer can handle it and provided there is enough paper in the world so I can read it more in depth.. =)

Update:

102 pages later, a new order to staples for more paper and toner, and now I have my copy of the review that includes all the posts from the FOG.

The newest Jointmakers will have colors that resemble the DJ-1 Drilling Jig colors. The light champagne color, dark grey and orange.
Unless, that is, we find some even better colors! :D

Thats really cool, I was hoping it wasn't going to be that blue. Don't get me wrong but I just thought there was to much of it.
