Outrigger Removal (disassembly)

Postby stevehva » Tue Sep 08, 2009 6:26 pm

The DJ-1 is an impressively engineered tool, exquisitely executed. I just received it an hour ago (2000 hrs EDT - thanks FedEx) so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to remove an outrigger. Is there a procedure available somewhere?

UPDATE: Disregard. With some better light and my reading glasses on, I figured it out.

Great! Glad you figured it out. When you go to re-attach the outrigger, just be sure to make it parallel to the other one by closing it up and then tightening the outrigger screw. There is a tiny bit of play between the outrigger and arms, not much, but enough to throw you off if you are doing precise work.
