Tool Holding Block ??

Postby Doug » Fri Apr 17, 2009 6:12 pm

One thing that I've been thinking would be a nice feature is a holding block for the allen wrenches and the depth setting clip-on nut. Maybe something made from the same material as the travelers that could slip onto one of the bottom rails? With holes through it for the allen wrenches and a round projection to lock the depth collar onto when not in use?

Doug;

The array of holes down each side of the front and rear plates are for such a purpose. Use them to fasten a shop made accessories and your wish comes true.

I agree the saw needs a place to organize small components. I'm planning to make something for it. I am waiting a bit to see what "parts" are most used for this. One I have already determined to put in the "tool box" is a verneer caliper.
