Hi All,
Has anyone used one? I received mine last week first set came out perfect. Chinese style (5mm) tip , but since I set it up again yesterday . Something is wrong??? Using the red arm I'm cutting very thin tips?? I adjusted the depth skids , re-read instructions and same result?

Are the dials set to 3 when you plane the tips? I set my plane to take very fine shavings. This makes for more strokes, but less potential tear out.

Like Maryvu said, check to make sure you're setting the purple knobs to the correct number for the red insert. Also make sure your iron isn't set for too big of a shaving- .004" is the correct amount.
