Will there be profiles or a Dovetail kit for the HP-10 convertible Rabbit plane? Is this something that is even being discussed? I am curious because I'd like to make sliding dovetails with a handplane in the future.

Hello,

Check out John's blog posts from Feb. 17th and 25th. He lists several different profiles that are next in line and makes mention of a dovetail sole set for the HP-10.

If you're interested in the sliding dovetails, check out the sets for the HP-6v2 as well.

Thanks for the reply! I couldn't find anything past January 9th in John's blog, so thank you for letting me know that there are plans to make profiles and a Dovetail sole set.

Thanks again! Sorry to read about your leg. Hope it is healed now. This winter can't be any easier than last winter.. As a fellow St.Paul guy, I am beyond ready for this winter to be over. This weekend reminded me of the winter of 1991/92.

Anyway, back to tools, thanks again. I am very excited about the future offerings for the HP10.

Cheers!
