Sharpening profiled irons has never been easier than with our custom made, hard anodized aluminum honing plates. Simply add a drop of diamond paste, mount your iron in a honing guide and several strokes later your iron is as good as new. It is almost impossible to ruin these irons when sharpened on the custom hone.
If you have never used the HP-6 it is a joy of a plane. To watch these profiles emerge without electricity, noise or dust is one thing but the need for no sanding is awesome. It is a fun tool!
