Quick Overview

Ogees are a “transition molding” and used to gracefully guide the eye from one aspect of a structure to another. These small molding profiles (the examples in the images are approximately ¾” square in cross-section) are ideal for box makers, clock makers, frame makers, and other projects where you want to create shadows and depth in your work. Projects without texture or shadows are often dreary and the absence of transitions can ruin a piece.

Product Description

Sharpening profiled irons has never been easier than with our custom made, hard anodized aluminum honing plates. Simply add a drop of diamond paste, mount your iron in a honing guide and several strokes later your iron is as good as new. It is almost impossible to ruin these irons when sharpened on the custom hone.

If you have never used the HP-6 it is a joy of a plane. To watch these profiles emerge without electricity, noise or dust is one thing but the need for no sanding is awesome. It is a fun tool!
