Welcome to Bridge City Tool Works! Established in 1983 by John Economaki, Bridge City Tool Works has been producing innovative and immaculately crafted heirloom tools for woodworkers and collectors worldwide. Made in America, all of our tools are produced in limited quantity numbers and are made to order. This means we only produce as many of a tool that is pre-sold before production begins.
For our collectors, we offer an archive of our past tools under our Discontinued Tools Section. These tools are no longer in production or available to purchase but are only shown for reference.
Visit the Manufacturing Schedule on our website to stay up-to-date with the tools that are in production. While you are browsing our website, please stop by John’s Blog to read the latest about Bridge City Tool Works.
Unique Order Process. Unconventional Tools.
The vast majority of the tools we produce are made to order in small production runs—which means our inventory levels are low to non-existent. If “when” is more important than “what” we are likely not the company for you.
If you are interested in acquiring one of our made-to-order products, it is important to add your email address to the list of like-minded craftspeople also interested in this particular item. When we reach the minimum number of names to forecast a production run, you will be notified via email and at that time you can choose to join the production run. Some tools we make more than once a year, some annually, and others less frequently
Production runs typically take three to six months to complete.
We are a small company founded in 1983. We recognize that in a world of immediate gratification our business model does not appeal to all. For those who plan their tool purchases with purpose and pride, we pledge to do our best to never let you down.
