Satisfaction Guarantee

Each tool comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item WITHIN 90 DAYS after receipt for a merchandise exchange or full refund. Tools returned 90 days after delivery are processed under our Return/Repair Policy.


Our Return/Repair Policy

We understand better than anyone that woodworkers require their tools to be within a proper calibration and reasonable tolerance, suitable to their needs. We invite you to compare our tools with any production hand woodworking tools made anywhere in the world.

If your tool has a workmanship defect and it is within one year from the original date of purchase, simply send it to us and we will determine whether to repair or replace the tool, at no charge to you. If your tool does not have a defect or it is more than one year from the purchase date —

  1. Current Founder’s Circle Plus Members may get their tool recalibrated, functionally repaired, or aesthetically restored for $5.00 plus shipping, with no limit on the number of tool repairs per year.
  2. Current Founder’s Circle Members may get their tool recalibrated, functionally repaired, or aesthetically restored for $5.00 plus shipping, up to two tools per year.
  3. If you are not a current Founder’s Circle Member, you may get your tool recalibrated, functionally repaired, or aesthetically restored for $35.00 per hour (1 hour minimum) plus shipping.
Upon receipt, we will determine an estimated repair cost and contact you prior to performing any repair. Tools which are deemed functionally irreparable may be applied (at our discretion and with your permission only) as a 20% credit towards an identical or similarly priced tool, if available. Unfortunately, excessive fire/flood, prolonged exposure to heat or moisture, lack of proper periodic cleaning and maintenance required to maintain hand woodworking tools, or abuse damage is not covered.

We are unable to determine by phone or email whether a tool can be repaired or necessitates replacement. Please contact us first for an initial assessment of your repair/return. Then carefully repackage the tool and send it to us along with your customer number, your full contact information (including your phone number), and a brief description of what repairs you would like performed.
