HP-6 Corner Bead Sole and Iron Set

These corner bead kits will create flawless moldings for a myriad of projects. They are sized by the radius of the bead and are very easy to use. Using a block or bench plane, you first create a chamfer to remove the bulk of the corner (the chamfer width is always the same as the radius of the corner bead). Next, use the HP-6 and the 45° fence to create the corner bead. The tool will cease to cut when the profile is complete. Typically a corner bead can be cut in five to six passes, more for larger profiles.

The results are stellar—no burns, the details are crisp and if you keep your iron sharp, no sanding!
