JS-2 Ryoba Rip/Crosscut Saw

Our exquisitely crafted professional saws are designed and produced in Japan exclusively for our Bridge City customers. The consistent golden color of the high grade Japanese steel is your assurance that the blade has been correctly tempered. The handles are hand wrapped with a braided cord and the ends are capped with brass ferrules.

The Ryoba has crosscut teeth on one edge and rip teeth on the opposite edge, making perfect economical sense. Our Ryoba has a cutting length of 9" and is perfectly sized for furniture or cabinetmakers, and also works well for finish carpenters. The crosscut saw has 15 teeth per inch, the rip saw 8 teeth per inch. Blade thickness is a robust 0.49mm (0.0195"). Overall length is approximately 24". A great saw when you are not cutting joints or miters.
