JM-1 24" Paring Guide Blem

The end-grain surfaces of many open joints, including dovetails are typically cut with a chisel. To assist you with this task, we offer our 24" Paring Guide. Once clamped in place, you simply work your chisel to the center of your stock thickness from each face with the back of the chisel resting against the guide. Our Paring Guide will guide your chisel at 88 degrees, creating a perfectly undercut joint. When not in use, the Paring Guide will hold your pencils, combo squares, rules, etc.

Only a slight cosmetic difference turns our otherwise perfect tool into a blem. Our blem tools are the functional equivalent of their non-blem counterparts.
